Position Overview: Repair, replace or reconstruct damaged vehicles components including sheet metal, plastics, fiberglass, suspension, frame(s), mechanical and/or electrical, glass and interior (minus sublet repairs) in a quality manner, with an original factory fit and finish and Company set standards resulting in an invisible repair.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform repairs as outlined on repair orders with efficiency & accuracy
- Assess & complete repair assignments and determine if additional safety or hidden repair work is needed
- Provide a vehicle that’s paint ready & ensure fit and finish
- Achieve expected objectives with a positive teamwork attitude
Experience/Skills
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is desired
- Organizational skills to simultaneously manage and produce multiple vehicle repairs
- Ability to read & comprehend instructions with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments timely
- Utilize hand & power tools and other equipment in a safe manner
Must be 18 with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Paint Technician
Refinishes vehicles with an exceptional fit and finish, resulting in an invisible repair.
Duties and responsibilities
Complete all repair assignments outlined in the body repair estimate. Inspect vehicles and account for all vehicle parts. Mix paint, color match and buff per the job requirements. Ensure that the vehicle is delivered with a finish equal to or superior to the original factory finish.
Experience/skills
Painting/paint prep and knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance desired. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, detail oriented, ability to work independently, ability to complete assignments in a timely manner, utilize all safety equipment when appropriate & ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely.
- Must be 18 with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Paint/Prep Technician
Preps repaired vehicles, provide a fit & finish surface ready for paint application that gives basis for an invisible repair.
Duties and responsibilities
Complete all repair assignments outlined in the body repair estimate. Inspect vehicles and account for all vehicle parts until re-installed. Buffing and preparing a base finish equal to or superior to the original factory finish. Painting and mixing paint when directed.
Experience/skills
Painting/paint prep and knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance a plus, WE WILL TRAIN those with a good work ethic and are highly motivated to learn the industry. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, detail oriented, ability to work independently, ability to complete assignments in a timely manner, utilize all safety equipment when appropriate & ability to use hand and power tools and other machinery safely.
